El Marqués del RAW was born from a passion for imagery, technical precision, and a commitment to excellence in every project.

Leading the team is Javier García, Chief Technician and Digital Imaging Technician (DIT) with over twenty years of experience in the film industry.

His career began after completing his audiovisual studies in 2000. In the early years, he worked in event production as a technician for LED screens, projections, and mobile units at Mediaro, operating and controlling cameras. Gradually, he specialized in cinema and advertising. In 2003, he joined the now-defunct Cámara Visión, a renowned camera rental company, where he led the digital unit until 2009. During this time, he developed a strong expertise in lens calibration and gained in-depth technical knowledge of both analog and digital cinema cameras, specializing in the latter.

Driven by the desire to be directly involved in the creative process on set, Javier transitioned to freelance work in 2009. Since then, he has served as a DIT on more than 30 fiction productions, both national and international, as well as commercials and music videos.

Over the years, Javier has established himself as a reliable, meticulous, and technically skilled professional, with particular expertise in LiveGrade on set and color grading.

In 2022, El Marqués del RAW was founded to provide a comprehensive digital imaging service with top-tier equipment tailored to the demands of modern productions. Our DIT and Data stations are built on Inovativ Echo 36 and Echo 30 carts, configured for maximum performance and reliability. We also operate a VW Transporter T7 DIT VAN, specially camperized to function as a near-set mobile data lab, providing fast and efficient support in any filming environment. With electric generators and solar panels, we offer a more sustainable service.
